Must be confident in deep water. Must be able to swim on front and back unassisted. Emphasis on the technique for front-crawl and backcrawl, introduction to breaststroke and deep water safety. Big Pool – Deep End. Participants progress to our Sharks lessons (full lengths) mid week. Assessments will take place by week 5 of the 7-week programme, to determine whether your child is ready to progress to the next level or should remain at their current level. Parents are asked to speak with their child's teacher after the week 5 assessment to confirm their child's placement for the next term. Following the assessment, parents guardians will have 10 days to book their child's place online, before all remaining spaces are made available to the general public.
