The Common is the sporting hub of the village with two senior and one junior football pitch, a turf cricket pitch, four tennis courts, a bowls green and newly installed Community Touch Rugby. It is the home of Village Day and several large fairs and a circus. It is easily accessed from Lewes Road and West Common and has three free car parks. The award winning, historical village is a stone's throw away ,with an abundance of independent shops, cafes and pubs
