At Andante Strings Academy, we strive to make well-rounded string players by providing training in a range of areas. Each day will include orchestra rehearsal, sectional rehearsals, chamber music rehearsal (trios, quartets, etc.), music theory, music history/appreciation, games, and a special activity at the end of the day. These special activities include a faculty recital, a visit from a luthier to learn about instrument maintenance, and 2 of our own student concerts! Thursday afternoon’s concert will feature our chamber groups performing the music they learned during the week, and Friday afternoon’s concert will be an orchestra concert.

(1 YEAR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED).

Please bring your own instrument and any playing materials required for your instrument (shoulder rest, rock stop, etc.)
