We’re inviting you to join us for our Sunrise to Sunset Walking Challenge 2026!

Two incredible local charities - Accrington Stanley Community Trust and Community Solutions are teaming up to host this special event at the Wilson Athletics Track, Accrington on Friday 19th June 2026. We’ll be walking from sunrise to sunset on one of the longest day of the year – when the sun rises at 04:43 and sets at 21:22 - to raise funds and awareness for our two charities’ ongoing work supporting people and communities across Hyndburn and beyond. Both charities are passionate about health, wellbeing, and connection, and this event is all about bringing people together, stepping outside comfort zones, and celebrating the power of the community.

Whether you’re part of a business, community group, school, sports club, or simply someone who loves to walk - we’d love you to take part and you choose how far you walk!
