Beech Hurst can be reached by car from Butlers Green Road and several pedestrian gates. Picnics can be enjoyed between informal flower beds and in lower meadows. The gardens and parkland are recognised with a prestigious 'Green Flag'. There are six petanque pistes, a turfed bowls green, artificial bowls rink and three tennis courts.
